2. Information we collect
If you contact Adanola or request a quotation, we may receive your name, telephone number, email address, postcode or area, the service you are interested in, details about the proposed work and any other information you choose to provide.
When you use the quotation form, the details are submitted through Web3Forms and forwarded to the business email account. The website itself does not provide customer accounts or maintain a separate quotation database.
Cloudflare, which provides website hosting and security infrastructure, may process limited technical information such as IP addresses and request or security logs when the website is accessed.
3. Why we use personal information
| Purpose | Lawful basis | How long it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to an enquiry or preparing a quotation you request | Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract | For as long as reasonably needed to respond to and follow up the enquiry, or to administer the work if you proceed. |
| Administering agreed work and keeping appropriate business records | Contract, legal obligations and/or legitimate interests, depending on the record and purpose | Only for as long as needed for the relevant contractual, accounting, tax, warranty, legal or dispute purpose. |
| Operating, delivering and protecting the website | Legitimate interests in providing a secure and functioning website | Technical logs are retained according to the relevant service provider's configuration and retention practices. |
4. Who we use to provide the website and handle enquiries
Personal information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website and respond to enquiries, including:
- Web3Forms for quotation-form submissions;
- Google Gmail for the business email inbox;
- Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery and security; and
- professional advisers or other service providers where genuinely necessary to deal with an enquiry, agreed work or a legal obligation.
Web3Forms states that it does not store form submissions, but may hold server logs for a limited period, and that its servers are located in the United States (US-East).
5. International processing
Some service providers used by the website may process personal information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the processing is subject to the provider's applicable data-processing and international-transfer arrangements. You can contact us if you would like further information about the service providers used for your information.
6. Is providing information required?
You do not have to submit personal information through the website. However, if you do not provide enough contact and job information, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or prepare a quotation.
7. Cookies, analytics and marketing
The current website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, remarketing tools, embedded maps, embedded videos, social feeds or marketing sign-up forms. See the Cookie Policy for more information about the current website technology.
Information supplied for an enquiry is not intended to be used for unrelated direct marketing unless an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, marketing consent has been established separately.
8. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis being used, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability or to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details in section 1.
9. Complaints
Please contact us first if you have a concern about how your information is handled. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data-protection regulator. Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk.
10. Children, sensitive information and automated decisions
This website is not designed for children and the quotation form does not ask for special-category personal information. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a general enquiry.
The website does not use automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions about customers.
11. Changes to this notice
This notice will be reviewed when the website or the way the business handles enquiries changes, including if analytics, advertising, online booking, payments, customer accounts, embedded third-party services or marketing sign-up tools are introduced.
